Paddy Power Games Review - My Experience

Paddy Power Games Reviewed by Simmo! on Mar 9th, 2013:

Best for slots players but a busy layout. Over the past few years I have played at Paddy Power Games pretty regurlarly, mainly because they have some excellent land-based slot games and very fast cashouts but I find the website layout a little cluttered to be honest.

My Rating: 4.0/5

Important: Paddy Power doesn't accept punters from the USA

If you live in the UK or Ireland you can't not have heard of Paddy Power. They are a popular bookmaker that have a huge online operation that brings into play the live betting, one of the best online casinos I've reviewed to date, bingo, poker and even a lottery product. Paddy Power Games is a no-download extension of the casino (which is a Playtech product) and has a very different range of games.

In fact, I'd say there are too many games! The good news is that there are some real gems in here - which I will come to in a moment - but the downside is you have to do a bit of searching. To be fair, there is a small "My Last Games" button at the top of the page which allows you to get back to previous games quickly and also a "View All" dropdown which is just a list of games - no thrills or descriptions. What the Paddy Power Games site could really benefit from is some sort of "favourites" system like some other operators do so you can flag games as you go along and build your own portfolio.

As for the games though, there is a decent selection of slots, table games and "soft" games although I would advise card gamers and roulette players to download the Paddy Power casino myself - the selection is better and it feels more robust. But for slots players, although teh casino itself is very good, Paddy Power Games has some very familiar names.

Among the slots if you look hard is IGT's Cleopatra slot and the popular Pharaoh's Fortune with it's iconic "Walk Like An Egyptian" soundtrack. In fact, alongside some decent slot games from Net Entertainment you'll see a number of other well-known games from terrestrial casinos: Wolf Run, Davinci Diamonds, Diamond Queen, Kitty Glitter and Cats are the ones that jump out but there are many, many more in here.

Paddy Power's Customer Service

This is an area where it is hard to fault Paddy Power. The service is generally pretty responsive and cashouts are very quick with no messing around on "reverse pending" time or anything like some other casinos I've reviewed. If I were to be picky then I'd say that maybe the bonuses are a bit spartan and also, being a larger operator, Paddy Power don't quite have the personal touch that you find at 32Red Casino or as a VIP at WMS's Jackpot Party. But overall it's good.

Signing up and getting started is a breeze too. As long as you can fill in a form online and have a bank card or eWallet account it couldn't be simpler although note that the mechanism you use to deposit at Paddy Power Games becomes your only option and all withdrawals have to be processed back to the same card/eWallet. You can ask customer support/Live Chat to change your banking method later but only after you empty your account. This is because of money-laundering regulations so it is with good reason!

Mobile Games

Paddy Power have been ramping up their mobile offering a lot and now have several options. One of my personal favourites is their Roller Casino app for iPad although this is best suited for Blackjack, Roulette and Bacarrat players in my opinion. If you visit Paddy Power Games on a tablet or smartphone though, you will be offered a mobile games platform with some very good games including Cleopatra, Rainbow Riches, davinci Diamonds, Monopoly and table games too.

Conclusion

Leaving aside the busy layout which is a minor frustration and also the lack of bonuses, Paddy Power Games is a very decent option. As I said above, I'd perhaps recommend it more to slots players although in retrospect, table games players on a mobile tablet should probably stop by on their mobile device and have a look as Paddy Power do have some of the best mobile products around.
