One of the bigger Microgaming casino brands with a very good reputation.
River Belle casino is part of the DigiMedia Ltd portfolio and
has been around for years. With TV advertising to back it up, you'd expect it to be a serious contender and
while there is always room for improvement, especially in support in my view, it's a well respected brand.

River Belle casino is the flagship casino of DigiMedia Ltd who also run the immensely popular Lucky Nugget, Jackpot City and Gaming Club casino brands alongside River Belle Casino and River Belle Poker. The River belle brand used to be heavily marketed in the USA in particular with TV ad campaigns regularly on view and big poker tournaments a regular fixture. However, because of changes to banking laws, US players are no longer able to play here (see the USA casinos page for options). River Belle also provides UK pound, Canadian dollar and Euro deposit currency options for players, has a good reputation and used to be one of my top casinos - still highly rated by me in fact. Perhaps the one concern I have is the response of their support team. This does tend to be same day, or next day at worst, but email support could be dramatically improved. To be fair, it's better than it was around 2007/2008 when it became a bit of a standing joke but in my opinion it still falls short of other casinos: top casinos like 32Red (32Red casino review) or the well-known Ladbrokes Casino (Ladbrokes casino review) who have identical games offer better support but less promotions and bonuses for example. Thankfully you shouldn't need River Belle casino support too often as the Microgaming software is pretty straightforward to use and they seem to have everything pretty much running on an even keel. Obviously there are signup bonuses, loyalty schemes and regular promotions at River Belle to compliment the games and some of the competitions have some wicked prizes at times. Personally, I never take a signup bonus because you then have to meet a certain wagering requirement before you can cash out (often quite unrealistic in my opinion) plus the games allowed whilst fulfilling the bonus wagering requirements are severly restricted. However, the River Belle Casino VIP loyalty scheme is very well regarded, especially by high rollers, one of whom I know has been shipped off on cruises and received plenty of other gifts and comps down the years from the group who run River Belle casino. As for the choice of games, think of a game, and it's probably to be found in the River Belle software. The choice - as is the case with most online casinos using Microgaming's software - is magnificent & the software even has an "Expert Mode" to assist newbies with strategy which in turn is combined with Microgaming's excellent "Autoplay" feature on slots, most video pokers (of which there are loads) and even some of the table games. In (the various versions of) Roulette, you can even set up betting patterns and leave it on autoplay playing to your chosen strategy! There are plenty of progressive jackpot games at River Belle casino too, so there's always the chance to win 6 or 7 figure sums if these are your bag. Banking options at River Belle casino are strong but that does seem to be a fairly common trait on Microgaming-powered casinos (see my Roxy Palace casino review for a direct comparison). Personally, I use an eWallet account (Neteller) but River Belle also accepts various other deposit and cashout methods including most popular eWallets and debit or credit cards. You need to be aware though that there are occasions when the credit card providers will not allow gambling companies to refund winnings back to the card. This is outside the casino's control, so it may be wise to check withdrawal options before you deposit. Overall though, safe to say you'll be in safe hands at River Belle in my opinion. Although there seems to be a variable policy towards cashout and reverse withdrawal periods (different players report different timings) but in my case it is usually 48 hrs max and I also receive Neteller (ewallet) withdrawals from River Belle Casino at weekends and I've never had any issue with them since Day 1. |
