Roxy Palace Casino Review - My Experience
Roxy Palace has a very good choice of table games, slots and video poker and having recently been purchased by the excellent 32Red is about to experience better cashout times too. It will retain the Microgaming platform with nearly 600 games in the download version and 400+ in the 'Instant Play' casino and bet limits, which used to be low, were raised in July 2015. Reverse pending times have improved but still remain and there is no weekend cashout processing anymore.

I have played there regularly over the years and I once considered Roxy Palace to be one of the top online casinos but the increasingly long cashout times experienced over weekends and accompanying reverse pending period, along with decreased maximum bet sizes meant serious players became ostracized. Happily, that has all changed under 32Red's ownership and Roxy Palace is back to being a top choice casino.
That all said, as I update this review (November 2015), there are still a couple of things that linger on, most notably the limitd cashouts on bonuses and a term relating to withdrwals having to be greater than lifetime depsoits. That isn't 32Red's policy so expect to see Roxy frop this anti-high roller term, maybe even by the time you read this. Using Microgaming's casino software - the biggest casino games provider bar none - each month you'll find new games. There are over 400 slots plus around 200 table games/video poker variants plus a live dealer casino with Playboy bunnies although that's not my think so I can't really compare it to other live casinos.
Roxy Palace also added a very good mobile casino some time ago - you simply need to visit the Roxy website on your iPad or Android device to start playing - and although games are limited, you'll find Blackjack, Roulette, JoB video poker and several popular slots like 'Thunderstruck' 1 & 2, 'Avalon' and 'Break Da Bank Again' and more. In fact, all Microgaming-software licencees that go mobile will have the same software including Jackpot City and Royal Vegas (Royal Vegas mobile casino review) so expect to see the same range of games at each. The interface for Roxy Palace is similar to other Microgaming casinos and very intuitive. The inclusion of "Expert Mode" gives you Auto-play and Auto-hold on most Video Poker games for the non-strategy savvy gambler and the gameplay runs fast and smooth. One thing I always loved about Roxy Palace casino is the constant stream of loyalty bonuses and deposit bonuses they mail out. I know bonuses these days are often very restrictive but no-one's going to say no to a no-deposit loyalty bonus, let's be honest and at Roxy these are regular for loyal players.
Until the previous ownership, the VIP loyalty scheme was very good but I'm told by 32Red management that this is an area that will be getting a lot of attention so, although it's too early for me to test it just yet, the signs are good. Particularly if you consider 32Red has always had a slightly better reputation than Roxy Palace down the years.
Roxy used to employ a rather rubbish 48 Hour "Reverse Pending" period which meant that when you withdrew, the money sat waiting for 48 hours for you to "reverse" it back to play with if you so wish. This was particularly annoying if you withdrew on a Thursday or a Friday, as this extended to Monday. However, under the new regime, that time is now 24 hours which is a big improvement even if the whole concept of Reverse Pending is generally hated by players. But it's now exactly the same as it is at 32Red casino so at least the playing field for Microgaming fans is a little more even now.
Most e-Wallets and cards are accepted at Roxy and they take players from most countries (excluding the USA), many parts of South East Asia, Southern Africa and Eastern Europe. Aside from English, the Roxy Palace website is also available in French and Dutch and currencies accepted include UK Pounds, Canadian and US dollars and Euros.
I've never been a fan of signup bonuses and tend to advise new players to avoid them but if you do want one then you will find one on offer at Roxy palace casino. It will of course come with some stupid wagering requirement that needs to be met before you can cashout but that's the trade-off. For the purposes of this review I am simply going to advise you only take it if you don't mind writing off your initial deposit as the chances of getting to a point where you can withdraw a decent profit from any deposit attached to a signup bonus are slim.
Overall, as you probably guessed by now, I am generally a fan of Roxy Palace casino. I have always found them efficient and while the Reverse Pending time bugs me, the games choice is fantastic and support is excellent. Now that the bet limits have been raised it is now more high-roller friendly too which as a high stakes player, is good for me, if not my wallet!

Withdrawal methods used may include debit & credit cards, bank transfers and eWallets.
